![]() ![]() As Entertainment Weekly writes, "The book feels like a clandestine glance inside the royal family, while also pulling off a realistic, swoon-worthy romance. It's cliché, of course, but Cocks & Morgan adeptly make everything seem real. You get sucked in immediately to the tale of Rebecca (Bex) an American exchange student at Oxford who ends up across the hall from Nick (in line for the British throne). Why was it so good? Heather Cocks & Jessica Morgan (you may know them from their popular site, Go Fug Yourself) draw inspiration from William & Kate and the British Royal Family, but turn it into a tale of a surprisingly realistic romance. It reminded me of when I used to ignore the teacher in elementary school and read under my desk trying not to get caught but now I am a working person and legitimately struggled with not reading this book at work. I stayed up all night to read The Royal We, a romance novel loosely based on the lives of Prince William and Kate. ![]()
